Deane Bozeman School Band Program

Our program consists of over 200 students involved in 7 different bands from grades 5-12. Each band places an emphasis on either a different style of music or a different level of musical experience than the other bands. These groups include:

• 5th Grade Band - 1st Year Musicians (Limited Instrumentation)

• Beginning Band - 1st Year Musicians

• Intermediate Band - 2nd Year Musicians

• Concert Band - 3rd Year Musicians

• "Heat Wave" Jazz Band - High School Musicians

• Symphonic Band - High School Musicians

• "Sound of Roaring Thunder" Marching Band - 8th Grade (By Audition)and High School Musicians

Why Join Band at Deane Bozeman School?

Since the opening of the school in 2000, the Deane Bozeman School Band has received local, state, and national recognition for its achievements with group and individual performances.

The Deane Bozeman Band Program also is the recent recipient of the Florida Bandmasters Association Otto J. Kraushaar Award for straight superior ratings at all events in a school year. We are the only program in the county to have received that award since 1980!  Also, the Bozeman Band Program was named a 2015 GRAMMY Award Signature School.

The Deane Bozeman School Band program has grown to be the largest student organization on campus, and is firmly committed to the highest standards of student achievement and musical performance.
